Admission Criteria
Our admissions process is clear and simple: well-defined age rules, a fully online document checklist, and admission tests that place every student in the right grade — wherever you are in the world.
Age Rules
When can your child join Grade 1?
All age rules are calculated as of the start of the school year and apply to every new academic year.
Six years completed
A student is admitted to Grade 1 if they have completed six years of age at the start of the school year, or are younger by no more than 90 days.
Up to 180 days younger
A student younger than the required age by up to 180 days may be admitted when both of the following conditions are met:
A certificate from an accredited kindergarten confirming completion of two semesters
Passing the school's developmental skills assessment
Maximum age at admission
To keep age groups consistent within each class, a student's age at admission may not exceed:
- Grade 17 years
- Grade 713 years
- Grade 1016 years
